What is Architectural Visualisation?

Architectural Visualisation, also known by various names such as Architectural Visualizations, Architectural CGIs, 3D Visualisations, Architectural Renderings, and 3D Architectural Illustration, encompasses a wide array of techniques and technologies used to create realistic representations of architectural designs. These visualisations play a crucial role in the architectural and construction industries by allowing architects, designers, and clients to visualise and understand a project before it is built. By utilising advanced software and rendering techniques, architectural visualisations bring designs to life, showcasing details such as materials, lighting, textures, and spatial relationships.

Architectural Visualisation has evolved significantly over the years, with advancements in computer graphics enabling artists and designers to create highly detailed and immersive visualisations that closely resemble the final built environment. These visualisations are not only used for presenting designs for planning permission but also serve as valuable tools for marketing your property developments. They help in conveying the intended design concept, highlighting key features, and creating a compelling narrative around the architectural vision.

Furthermore, Architectural Visualisation has become an integral part of the design process, allowing architects and designers to experiment with different design options, analyse spatial configurations, and make informed decisions based on the visual feedback provided by the renderings. This iterative approach helps in refining designs, identifying potential issues, and ensuring that the final built structure meets the desired aesthetic and functional requirements.

In conclusion, Architectural Visualisation, in its various forms and names, plays a vital role in shaping the way architectural projects are conceived, communicated, and realised. By harnessing the power of visualisation technologies, architects and property developers can create compelling visual narratives that inspire, inform, and engage, ultimately leading to the sale of property.

How much do Architectural Visualisation CGIs cost?

When considering the cost of standalone images versus package prices for multiple images of the same property development, it's important to weigh the benefits. While standalone images may seem expensive initially, opting for a package deal can offer significant cost savings in the long run. Property developers often view Architectural Visualisation CGIs as a luxury investment, but the reality is that these visualisations can be a powerful tool for selling properties off-plan. Many of our clients have successfully marketed their developments using our CGIs, enabling them to showcase the potential of the project to prospective buyers.

By utilising Architectural Visualisation CGIs, developers can expedite the marketing process and bring their properties to market more quickly. These visualisations not only help in selling properties before they are physically built but also aid in building a strong portfolio. Additionally, by consistently using CGIs in their marketing materials, property developers can enhance their brand recognition and establish a solid presence in the competitive real estate market.

What is a photomontage CGI?

When it comes to visualising architectural projects, Architectural Visualisation CGIs play a crucial role in presenting designs in a realistic and appealing manner. However, complementing these CGIs with Architectural Photography can really elevate the presentation to a whole new level. By integrating 3D models into real-world photography, we can provide a comprehensive view of how a building will integrate into its environment upon completion.

Architectural Photography serves not only as a sales tool but also as a means to create photomontage images that offer a glimpse into the future. These images are invaluable when seeking planning permission, as they help visualise the impact of the proposed structure on its surroundings. Moreover, by showcasing how a building will interact with its environment, these photomontage images can highlight the unique features and benefits of the design, ultimately enhancing its appeal.

Furthermore, the process of creating photomontage images requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of both architectural design and photography. It involves seamlessly blending the 3D model with the photograph, ensuring that the lighting, perspective, and scale are all harmoniously integrated. The result is a compelling visual representation that not only showcases the design but also tells a story of its future existence in the real world.

What do I need to supply for the Property CGIs to be produced?

The most current architects plans, elevations, and site plan are crucial information required to initiate any project. These documents can be provided in various formats, such as hand-drawn sketches, PDFs, or preferably as DWG AutoCAD files, which are standard in the industry for creating precise 1:1 scale models of the property development. Additionally, it is essential to include a material specification or at least details on the materials to be used, such as brick type, window color, door colors, RWP colors, and any other pertinent information that could impact the final images.

Are Architectural CGIs copyrighted?

Similar to our Architectural photography, we hold the copyright for our CGIs. Nevertheless, you are free to use them as you please, with the only request being not to sell them to a third party unrelated to the relevant project.

What size are the images you supply?

Our images are typically provided in two sizes: high resolution (6000px X 4000px, equivalent to a 24-megapixel DSLR camera) and low resolution (3000px X 2000px). We suggest using the high-resolution CGI for printing purposes and the low-resolution CGI for web or email. It's worth noting that both images are the same, except for their size. The reason for offering both options is that the high-resolution images are too big to be sent via email. Instead, we provide a download link for easy access to the images.

For specific needs, we can accommodate any size you require.

How do you receive our images?

As technology advances, the quality of images continues to improve over time, resulting in larger file sizes. While this is great for capturing intricate details and vibrant colors, it poses a challenge when it comes to sharing these high-resolution images via email. To overcome this limitation, we offer a convenient solution by providing a download link instead. This method allows you to effortlessly access the files without compromising their quality.

It's important to note that these high-resolution image files are designed to be versatile, much like traditional digital photographs. They are saved in the standard file format .JPG, universally compatible with all types of computers and devices, ensuring seamless access and viewing experience across various platforms.

What are Show Home 360 Virtual Tours?

New to the market, show home virtual tours are a revolutionary way of presenting properties to potential buyers. By offering a 360-degree view of a room or exterior scene, these virtual tours provide an immersive experience that goes beyond traditional still images. With just a swipe of a finger or by physically moving a handheld device, viewers can explore every corner of a room, almost as if they were physically present in the space.

Unlike static images that only capture a single perspective, these virtual tours offer a comprehensive view of the entire room, allowing clients to examine every detail and aspect of the property. This level of detail enables prospective buyers to envision themselves living in the space, making it easier for them to make informed decisions about a potential purchase.

Moreover, show home virtual tours are not only visually engaging but also cost-effective. They provide a more interactive and engaging experience compared to traditional walkthrough animations, making them a valuable tool for real estate agents and property developers. By leveraging this innovative technology, sellers can enhance their marketing efforts and attract more potential buyers by offering them a truly immersive and interactive viewing experience.
